The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating construction drawings, performing structural engineering tasks, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop detailed structural designs. This role involves close collaboration with sales and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive structural designs, including plans, sections, details, and 3D models using Inventor.
- Utilize AutoCAD for Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tasks.
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure the integrity and stability of projects.
- Coordinate with sales and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Prepare and review construction documents, including shop drawings and submittals.
- Conduct on-site visits to gather necessary data and oversee project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in structural design.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in structural design and drafting.
