Job Title: Sonographer

Shift: (7:30am-4pm) Monday-Friday
Duration: Full time with benefits
Pay Range: $48 to $50 Per Hour
Summary:
- Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of diagnostic echocardiographic procedures on patients, including 2D echocardiograms, 2D Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms. The incumbent also assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Explains the purpose and duration of the echocardiogram procedure to patients to allay fears. Provides excellent customer service throughout the examination.
- Data Collection: Obtains pertinent patient data for interpretation by a board-certified cardiologist.
- Image Acquisition: Obtains two-dimensional ultrasonic images of the heart, including 2D echocardiograms, 2D Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms. Obtains high-quality ultrasonic images from patients with complex health issues.
- Physician Assistance: Assists physicians in conducting transesophageal echocardiograms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, at least 1 Year work experience in a Echo Tech
- BLS
- RDCS or RCS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.67 - $53.73 per hour
