LPN Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.

• Responsibilities
• Implement and coordinate the delivery of care in collaboration with healthcare team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information
• Assist in patient assessments and care planning
• Educate patients and families on healthcare needs, conditions, and self-care skills
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
• Participate in family planning, senior care, discharge planning, infant care, tube feeding, and laboratory procedures

37 bed unit

5 : 01 RN ratio

Pulmonary, cardiac, GI patient diagnosis

Meditech charting

Might be asked to float to ICU, ED, OB-as helper if low census on unit

• Hours :
• 12-hour shift 7p-7a

NY LPN License

BLS required

Covid Vaccination card OR Religious / Medical exempt

Job Types : Contract, Temporary

Pay : $36.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours : 36 per week
