- Duties
- Assist pathologists in conducting post-mortem examinations and surgical specimen dissections
- Prepare tissue samples for analysis and diagnosis
- Perform laboratory techniques including grossing, embedding, cutting, and staining specimens
- Utilize medical terminology accurately to document findings
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed
- Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure accurate results
- Collaborate with pathologists to analyze and interpret data
- Assist in research laboratory activities related to pathology
