Job Summary
As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in the medical field by assisting healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients through the use of diagnostic imaging equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform X-rays to create images for diagnostic purposes
Operate and maintain imaging equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze imaging results
Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
Follow protocols for radiation protection and safety
Job Description :
X-ray tech comfortable working OR, ED, inpatient and portables. Must be willing to learn peds and neonates.
Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment. Evaluates images for technical quality.
EMR : EPIC and Sectra, Equipment : GE, Phillips and CareStream.
Assigned to a department by day but expected to float if needed
Hours : 8hr days 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm
Deal Breaker :
BLS and ARRT required.
Graduated from a JRCERT / ARRT approved program.
Minimum 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility.
Covid Vaccination card OR Religious / Medical exemption.
Job Type : Contract
Pay : $52.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 per week
Schedule : 8 hour shift
