We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Real Estate Development team as an Associate. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in real estate development, project management, and the built environment. The Associate will play an integral role in supporting the development process, from site acquisition / predevelopment to project execution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, external consultants, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and underwriting potential development opportunities, including land acquisitions and office to residential conversions.
- Assist in the preparation of due diligence materials, including environmental and legal reviews.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support feasibility studies and investment decisions.
- Prepare and maintain project timelines, budgets, and financial models to monitor progress and performance.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of permit applications and other regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and the lease-up of the property until stabilization
- Participate in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate development, finance, construction, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with real estate financial modeling or underwriting.
- Knowledge of real estate markets and development processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the real estate development field.
