Position Description: Project Manager/Supervisor
As a Project Manager/Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will lead teams on-site, manage subcontractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
- Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Manage and guide teams of carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and developers to ensure project alignment.
- Review and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and project specifications.
- Maintain project schedules, track progress, and meet established deadlines.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost control.
- Order and schedule materials and equipment deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or site supervision, preferably in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the DMV area.
