Canvassing Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Canvassing Manager to lead our canvassing efforts in engaging with the community and promoting our initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for fundraising, with experience in door-to-door canvassing and customer service. As a Canvassing Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of canvassers, developing strategies to maximize outreach, and ensuring effective engagement with potential supporters. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the canvassing team, ensuring all activities align with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement effective canvassing strategies to maximize outreach and fundraising efforts.
• Train, supervise, and motivate canvassing staff to achieve performance targets.
• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with community members, communicate key messages, and promote initiatives.
• Negotiate with potential supporters to secure commitments and contributions.
• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes from canvassing efforts.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy execution.
• Utilize skills to communicate effectively with diverse community members when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in market outreach, fundraising, or related fields.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
• Experience in door-to-door canvassing or telemarketing is preferred.
• Ability to supervise a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
• A passion for community engagement and advocacy.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
