Position: Functional Aide
Position Overview:
The Functional Aide plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Silverstone Place facility. This multi-purpose position involves assisting residents with various non-patient care requests, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment, and supporting other staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Support:
- Assist residents with non-patient care needs, such as delivering personal items or providing assistance with basic requests.
- Maintain a courteous and respectful approach to residents at all times.
- Housekeeping Support:
- Make and change beds as needed to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Assist with passing laundry and organizing resident clothing.
- Facility Assistance:
- Provide water and ice to residents as requested.
- Assist with the removal of trash from resident rooms to ensure cleanliness and hygiene within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with residents.
- Ability to lift and move items as needed (must be able to adhere to safety protocols).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or residential facility is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
