The Director of Environmental services at Silverstone Place has been a vital part of the team since 2022. In their role, they have demonstrated strong leadership in both maintaining the facility’s maintenance concerns and ensuring a safe environment for staff and residents alike. Beyond overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations, they also serve as the lead maintenance director, further enhancing their impact by contributing to the facility's overall upkeep and safety protocols. Their dedication and expertise have made them an invaluable member of the Silverstone Place family.
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Assistant to support our Maintenance Manager in day-to-day operations at our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role involves performing various tasks to maintain the facility’s environment, ensuring safety and comfort for both residents and staff.
Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift items between 50-70 lbs
- Maintenance Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patch and paint areas as needed to maintain a clean and well-maintained environment
- Utilize warning signs to create a safe work environment for all staff and residents
- Change light bulbs and ballasts as required to ensure proper lighting throughout the facility
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in completing larger tasks and projects as necessary
- Aid in the relocation of residents, including moving bed frames and furniture as directed
- Make repairs to beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment as ordered
- Perform general repairs to the property as needed to ensure its proper upkeep
- In the event of a disaster, assist where needed or as directed to maintain safety and order
- This position may be altered or adjusted based on the needs of the facility and at the direction of the administrator at any time.
