Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and coffee-loving Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall fun and lively atmosphere of our shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks, in accordance with our recipes and standards.
- Greet customers with a smile, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and informing management of low stock items.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Foster a positive and engaging environment by interacting with customers and fellow team members.
- Stay informed about our coffee offerings, including origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A passion for coffee and a deep appreciation for the craft of coffee-making.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
