Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with excellence. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing them with personalized service and expert advice on their insurance policies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients to ensure their coverage remains appropriate and up to date.
Policy Management:
- Assist clients with policy renewals, changes, and claims processing.
- Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure accuracy and adequacy of coverage.
- Provide recommendations for additional coverage or changes based on clients' evolving needs.
Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Create and sometimes present quotes, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Help onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent initial experience.
Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Address and resolve client concerns, issues, or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Educate clients on insurance products, policy details, and coverage options.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and other insurance professionals to facilitate client needs.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve agency processes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or account management, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and policies (Property & Casualty, Life & Health, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- P & C Insurance license with at least 2 years of commercial lines experience
