General Summary of Job Duties:
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Casino floor according to Company guidelines and standards. Duties include special projects, operation of various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for always maintaining the Silverton standards of service to guests and coworkers.
- Ensures the Silverton standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas, which include, but are not limited to, restrooms, casino areas, lounges, corridors, elevators, back-of-house areas and exterior areas of the property.
- Always maintains a safe and pristine work environment.
- Works with safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Monitors and maintains cleanliness of assigned areas, including, but not limited to, using heavy commercial/industrial equipment to clean floors, decks, furniture, carpets and walkway areas.
- Stripping and waxing floors throughout the property.
- High dusting requiring the use of a high lift.
- Checks assigned areas for safety and repair issues.
- Responds to all calls for cleaning requests, spills, and biohazards.
- Complies with requests to assist in other areas as needed.
- Ability to use a two-way radio, ensuring professional and courteous communication.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
