Landscape & Horticulture: Seasonal Pesticide Applicator
Summary
Provides, maintains, and controls pesticide applications for Silverwood Theme park landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Make chemical applications for insect, disease and weed control
2. Make and maintain pesticide application records
3. Use and maintain powered spray truck
4. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
5. May assist in various other landscape maintenance activities as required
6. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience directly related to duties and responsibilities
- Current Idaho Pesticide Applicators License with ornamental pest (OP) category
- Valid drivers license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- General grounds keeping responsibilities
