What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Editor position at Silverwood Theme Park?
SILVERWOOD
POSITION TITLE: Videographer
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
POSITION SUMMARY: Uses knowledge of current video editing software and procedures to create and produce all of Silverwood’s video content for use outside and in-park.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of Marketing
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Works with Marketing team requiring limited supervision
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree preferred but not required
- 3 years of videography experience
- Must have a working knowledge of the following programs and skill sets:
- Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Audition and/or other sound design software
- Photography (preferred, but not required)
- Detail Oriented
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
- Coordinate all deadlines using a production calendar
- Create motion graphics (on-screen text, etc..)
- Use music and sound effects to enhance video production value.
- Use color correct and visual filters.
- Stay within the brand (consistent fonts, colors, etc…).
- Work well in a team-centric environment with lots of collaboration with other departments.
- Work comfortably with deadlines
- Assume other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
- Support the goals and directions of the management of Silverwood.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
