Let me know.Location - Richmond, VA 23225Duration - 06 months ABOUT THE ROLE : We have an immediate need of a Technical PM to oversee the VSP Net project / transition from a legacy service to the VDN-managed platform with Verizon. - Extensive knowledge and experience with Data and Network Monitoring technologies, standards, and practices for management of the broadband circuit portfolio. Ability to assist with the Data Networking services lifecycle from strategic planning to operations and financials, from a broadband circuit perspective. Experience in managing general network technology projects. Understands best practices in service management including contract and vendor management in an outsourcing or shared service. - Responsible for responding to and resolving agency and customer escalations Recommended Knowledge / Experiences : Experience in State / Agency is a plus. ITIL Foundations certification desirable Experience deploying and managing multiple location network solutions. Required : 7 Years Ability to perform Data Networking technology and operational assessments to oversee the Virginia State Police transition project Project Management experience and the ability to track milestones / deliverables and report out to VITA leadership Experience in managing general network technology projects Extensive knowledge and experience with Data and Network Monitoring technologies, standards, and practices. Experience deploying and managing multiple location network solutions Responsible for responding to and resolving agency and customer escalations Experience producing presentations when reporting out on status of technology projects
