What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner I position at Silvex, Inc.?
The Planner I position helps maintain a consistent and accurate flow of information and/or materials within Silvex shop floor as well as our IT Enterprise Environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Daily data entry of line costing information.
· Daily work order entry of production jobs and associated requirements.
· Maintain ERP software integrity regarding parts records, identification, pricing, racking.
· Integration of production scheduling within ERP software.
· Supports planning manager with respect to CMMC compliance.
· Supports Avatara activities regarding orders, projects, and resource allocation.
· Supports director or operations with special projects or requests as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Basic understanding of MS Excel software.
· Ability to collect and maintain data.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High degree of typing speed and accuracy.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
· Ability to remain positive and support others within a diverse working environment.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
· Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
· Frequent use of computers and IT equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, 1st shift.
Travel:
Minimal travel may be required for training or audits.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent acceptable.
· Some experience in IT or data analysis.
Required Training:
- Silvex initial orientation
- Pallet jack and/or forklift
- Planner I functions mostly attained by OJT.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Candidates must undergo a reference check, background screening, and a fit-for-duty physical.
