As a trainee in our Logistics Development Program, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity regarding what being part of a Logistics/dispatch team is like! Here, you will make an impact by working alongside experienced dispatchers and logistic coordinators. Your experience will include everything from Ready Mix, Aggregate, Cement and Salt ordering and so much more.

So, what does a trainee in our Logistics Development Program Do? As a Trainee, you'll be an integral part of our central dispatch operations:
- Work in partnership with Highly trained and experienced Dispatcher and Logistics Coordinators
- Provide stellar customer service to our clients and addressing nay issues and or concerns
- Ensure successful scheduled deliveries with our drivers
- Communicating via a two-way radio system.
- Handling high volume of calls daily
- Communicating and working alongside other departments such as Operations, Sales and Quality Control.
- Complete work assignments in the allotted time frame
- Demonstrates excellent communications skills; listens to other ideas and suggestions
Qualifications Required as a Silvi Logistics Development Trainee:Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic equipment- previous mechanical/maintenance experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma/Ged and or currently enrolled in a community college
