Seeking a talented and experienced Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to join our team in Swedesboro, NJ. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a leading concrete supplier, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality concrete products. Our ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license, a DOT Medical Card, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
About the Role:
- Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
- Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
- Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving the use of ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes, as well as driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
- Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
- Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
- Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality concrete products to customers on time and in accordance with specifications.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
