As a Silvi Materials Paralegal, you will tap into a broad range of legal issues, including corporate transactional work, employment & labor law, regulatory compliance, and litigation management. As a member of an in-house corporate legal team, your contributions will impact all aspects of the way we do business, from vendor relationships through merger & acquisition work.

So, what does Silvi Materials Paralegal do? You'll be an integral part of our team:
- Assist attorney in all aspects of corporate transactions, including drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting due diligence, and managing closing processes.
- Assist with corporate filings, including formation and dissolution of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
- Conduct research and analysis of legal issues related to corporate law, labor & employment law, and business transactions.
- Gather and preserve data, documents, and information to drive the legal departments responses to discovery requests and subpoenas.
- Interface with outside counsel in ongoing litigation and corporate transactions to ensure Silvi is providing requested documents and support.
- Maintain corporate records and manage document databases.
- Assist with regulatory compliance, including preparing and filing regulatory reports.
- Draft and review legal correspondence, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide administrative support to the corporate counsel, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Paralegal studies, or related field preferred.
- Certification in Paralegal studies preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate legal department.
- Experience with LexisNexis or similar research platform required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and manage workload.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Expert proofreading, writing, and typing skills.
