What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beautician position at Silvis Center Rehab and Care?
We are seeking a talented Beautician at Silvis Center Rehab Nursing and Care!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment for the residents of Silvis Center. The beautician will be paid by the residents for services rendered. Days and hours are flexible.
Duties:
- Maintains parlor and equipment in a clean and tidy manner, as well as maintaining safe environment for residents.
- Manage scheduling appointments.
- Styles hair consistent with resident's request and preference.
- Supplies chemicals to achieve permanents, relaxers, and color in a competent manner.
- Supplies own tools as needed.
- Promotes a friendly and positive atmosphere while delivering salon services.
- Has knowledge of chemicals and processes used.
- Identifies and responds in a timely and sensitive manner to the needs of residents receiving beauty services.
Requirements:
- Current State license in cosmetology required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience as a beautician or barber.
- Prior experience in a healthcare facility preferred but not required.
