Receptionist needed Part - Time hours available!!
Part - time with a rotational schedule ( 2 days per week - 4pm - 8pm and the following week 3 days per week 4p - 8p)
Every other weekend requirement 8a - 7p
The Receptionist assumes responsibility for the clerical operations of the facility. This includes providing clerical support to all disciplines, accounts payable, purchasing and overseeing front desk operations. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Job Knowledge / Duties :
Attends all mandatory in-services by the employee’s anniversary date
Acts appropriately under the direction of the Administrator and acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in unit / shift assignments to meet facility needs
Provides clerical support to the Administrator and respective disciplines
Assists with answering phones, running facility errands, and maintaining personnel files
Demonstrates responsibility for purchasing and accounts payable for all departments
Updates and preserves all current facility contracts
Maintains and updates all physician licensure, credentials and insurance information
Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance
Program when performing work functions
Is aware of, and adheres to, Resident’s Bill of Rights and Confidentiality of Resident
Information
Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, clinical and ancillary staff in a non- judgmental, supportive and calm manner
Addresses family satisfaction issues immediately and assists in resolving the matter in a professional manner
Is aware of Resident Abuse Reporting Law
Participates as assigned in the orientation of new staff and demonstrates a positive, helpful and enthusiastic attitude
Creates and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning
