Role and Responsibilities
The cleanroom technician will ensure that parts and products are not contaminated by following strict cleanroom guidelines. This role is responsible for packaging and labeling medical devices per work instructions using a variety of assembly equipment, fixtures, and test equipment within a sterile cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cleanroom.
- Maintain a sterile environment by cleaning the room and following clean room procedures.
- Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures to package various medical device orders.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the quality system and department.
- Perform visual inspections of products, packaging, and labels to ensure quality standards are met and packaging is accurate.
- Work in cleanroom environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Verifying and documenting processes and procedures in relation to packaging, labeling, and cleaning.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous clean room experience
- Ability to read, understand, and implement written procedures
- Strong attention to details
- Basic computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination
- Positive attitude and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
