Sim Surgical is seeking CNC Machinists in our Mills and Lathes Departments for 1st shift, 2nd shift, and Weekend Shift.
Shifts
1st: Monday-Thursday - 5 am-3:30 pm (4 x 10-hour DAY shifts)
2nd: Monday-Thursday - 3:15 pm-1:45 am (4 x 10-hour EVE shifts shift diff)
3rd: Friday-Sunday - 6 am-6:30pm (3 x 12-hour WEEKEND* shifts shift diff)

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

- Earn 40 hours pay for 36 hours worked for weekend shift!
- OT pay starts after 36 hours of weekend shift work

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate various machines, including CNC Swiss Lathes and Mills to finish parts or prepare for next operation.
- Work from blueprints, part prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Use precision tools and instruments.
- Capable of working to tight tolerances.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Prefer 1-3 years’ experience with Set-up and operation of CNC Machines, but will train.
- Possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computer scanning devices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
- Experience with Haas, Okuma, or Tsugami Swiss machines would be beneficial but not required.
