Why this role is important to us
This position is part of a newly-established internal audit function in SimCorp. You will be reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, and the function reports directly to the CEO.
Senior IT Auditor will be responsible for planning and execution of risk-oriented IT-audits with respect to compliance, security and efficiency of systems and processes, on-premise and in the cloud.
The person will assess the configuration, internal controls and operating processes of information systems to identify security weaknesses and make recommendations to improve security and maintain compliance with security standards.
What you will be responsible for
- Help establish internal audit function and work cycle
- Prepare and execute IT audits
- Participate in business audits to provide IT-specific expertise
- Drive all phases of audits from planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and communicating results to management up to preparing audit reports and tracking action plans to validated completion
- Identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities as well as develop pragmatic approaches to solve problems
- Provide advice and audit support for line management or in the context of IT projects for the implementation of adequate internal controls
- Shape the audit methodology and processes as well as support of risk-based audit planning
