What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabric Research & Development Associate position at SIMKHAI?
Simkhai is searching for a talented Materials R&D Associate who will be an integral role in the development of Simkhai’s extensive RTW categories. This includes womenswear, menswear, swimwear and denim.
Responsibilities
FABRIC AND COLOR RESEARCH
- Conduct seasonal fabric and color research based on Simkhai’s aesthetic, continue to propel a sense of innovation
- Seasonal trim and hardware research, incorporate tactile processes and launch custom trim developments with vendors
- Attend fabric appointments and assist in pulling selection based on seasonal design direction
- Assist fabric manager in submitting qualities for competitive sourcing
