Estimator/Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in our company's growth by accurately assessing client needs, providing detailed project estimates, and cultivating strong relationships with potential customers. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a reputable asphalt paving company and be a key player in expanding our client base.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct on-site evaluations of asphalt surfaces to determine project scope and requirements.

· Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.

· Prepare comprehensive project estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.

· Present estimates to clients in a clear and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns.

· Follow up with clients to answer inquiries, negotiate terms, and secure contracts.

· Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and client communications.

· Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project execution.

· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

· Participate in networking events, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives to promote the company's services.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in estimating/project managing for commercial and municipal asphalt paving projects is a must!

· Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

· Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating.

· Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

· Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales targets.

· Valid driver's license

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Windsor Locks, CT: Relocate before starting work (Required)
