Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly in construction environments. This role involves operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks and water trucks, to transport materials to and from construction sites. A strong understanding of heavy equipment operation is essential for ensuring safety and efficiency on the job.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to understand material needs and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as necessary, ensuring proper weight distribution for safe transport.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating vehicles on-site.
- Participate in routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with a focus on dump truck operations.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and tankers is a plus.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- No Restriction on CDL License
- Experience in driving a manual dump truck.
