JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Director will represent the School of Social Work Graduate programs to prospective students, applicants and institutions at recruitment activities and events. Under the supervision of the Director of Admission, the Assistant Director of Graduate Admission for the School of Social Work manages communications plans for prospective students, assists in oversight of Slate CRM, participates in recruitment travel, organizes recruitment events including information sessions, manages changes to admission webpages, manages the Alumni and current students Ambassador Programs, collects financial documentation for international students, and coordinates I-20 paperwork with the Center for Global Education. This position requires a person who understands the rhythms of high-volume graduate admission office, recognizing there are periods that require additional time and effort in order to ensure enrollment goals are successfully met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Admissions Operations and Reporting
- Oversee communications with prospective students in partnership with Admission Director;
- Serve as point of contact for non-degree, pre-matriculated, and post-master's applicants;
- Communicate with admitted and newly deposited students in an effort to positively affect yield rates.
