PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Utilities Payables Analyst I is responsible for coordinating the payment of utility bills for all malls. The responsibilities include working with our third-party bill payor to ensure timely payment of utility bills as well as ensuring that daily activities post to the general ledger daily.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
General:
- Data Entry of utility invoices received via email or US Mail.
- Process check requisitions for utility bill payment.
- Process Account Maintenance forms for utility bill payment.
- Request Refunds from various utility companies.
- Deactivate utility accounts that have been finalized.
- Monitor emails received from field employees, third party bill payor, Utility Companies, etc.
- Monitor Bills from New/Sold Properties.
- Post daily transactions to the general ledger.
- Process refund checks and miscellaneous utility related deposits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Business degree or 4 years related experience.
- Ability to research and compile analytical data.
- Expert Excel user with working knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A high degree of verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various management levels is required.
- Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and achieve goals.
