Collections Specialist

Job Description

Begins at $16/hour PLUS potential for scaled hourly rate and commission.

We are looking to add experienced, highly self-motivated individuals to our growing collection team in Liverpool, NY. This position provides an opportunity to join a growing team at a company that has been established for over 50 years. We are seeking reliable, professionally persistent candidates who have a proven track record in the collection industry and are confident in their ability to negotiate repayment of delinquent debts from consumers.

Debt Collection Specialist Qualifications:

• Contacting Consumers to collect on outstanding balances.
• Goal-oriented and confident meeting/exceeding required quotas.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced call center environment.
• De-escalation of consumer issues and complaints.
• Ability to follow instructions and retain information.
• Working knowledge of FDCPA and other state/federal laws and regulations is a PLUS.
• Auto-dialer experience a PLUS.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8 am to 7 pm and Friday 8 am to 6 pm. Must be available to work full time at our Liverpool, NY location if applying locally.

Out of State or out of area will be fully remote.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
