As an Entry-Level Demand Planning Coordinator, you will support the Demand Planning team in forecasting book sales, analyzing market trends, and coordinating inventory levels to meet customer demand. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of demand forecasts for frontlist and backlist titles.
Monitor sales data and analyze historical trends to support accurate forecasting.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant data for planning.
Support inventory optimization by tracking stock levels and suggesting replenishment strategies.
Help prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, inventory status, and forecast accuracy.
Maintain planning tools, databases, and spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.
Contribute to special projects aimed at improving forecasting processes and supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Publishing, or a related field.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas); familiarity with forecasting tools a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
Interest or experience in the publishing industry preferred but not required.
Salary : $50,000 - $54,000
