Job Overview
This is a role within the distribution center of Simon & Schuster, a 100-year-old company with offices around the world. In this role you will be a Material Handler in the Shipping Department.
What you will be doing on a daily basis
Building full neat and accurate pallets.
Placing placards on pallets.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Separating and stacking cartons.
Keeping lines clear.
Some requirements :
Experience operating low rider and use a pallet jack.
You must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
You must have careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.
You must have the ability to stand for up to 8 hours / day.
Ability to operate shrink-wrapping machine.
Shift and Schedule :
- Monday- Friday 8AM to 4 : 30PM Overtime as needed.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies.
