In addition, the Center developed Moriah Media to produce theatrical documentaries to educate global audiences. Moriah has produced 17 documentaries to date, two of which have received the Academy Award for best feature documentary, The Long Way Home and Genocide.
Overview:
The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) is seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to assist with daily administrative and logistical tasks in the Midwest region. This temp role offers hands-on support in program coordination, event logistics, fundraising efforts, and office management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and dedicated to SWCs mission of combating hate and promoting human rights.
** This position in Onsite at our office in Chicago and is a Part-Time (29 hours a week) Temp position ***
About You:
You are someone who is organized, adaptable, and motivated by SWCs mission. Your ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently while supporting fundraising and event coordination will directly contribute to the Centers success in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist in the coordination of outreach programs, events, and meetings. Maintain tracking systems for program expenses and logistics.
- Event Coordination: Manage logistics for conferences, speaking engagements, and virtual events, including speaker coordination, guest accommodations, and materials.
- Research: Conduct research to support program initiatives, including gathering and analyzing information on schools, educational institutions, and community organizations.
