JOB TITLE: CDL Fleet Driver
LOCATION: Tempe MOM Warehouse
Travel %: 100%
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Travels and works with a team providing Mobile Breast Cancer Screenings in all 15 counties of Arizona.
· 30-minute preparation/setup and close down time are the standard requirement
· Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
· Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
· Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.
· Check the driver’s manual for more detailed operation instructions.
· Perform generator check daily.
· *Before starting the generator remember to:
o Check the oil. The oil is kept in the outside truck compartment (DO NOT OVER FILL).
o Ensure that all electrical devices, especially air conditioners, are off.
· Never let gas tanks get below half full.
· Please ensure that the unit is fueled each night before parking
· Wastewater holding tanks must be emptied at the end of the shift, if needed. It is unacceptable for the Unit to smell due to the tanks not being emptied.
· The freshwater tank must be kept full.
· Trash baskets must be emptied before the end of the day.
· The following must be cleaned daily:
o Windows, both inside and out and dressing room mirrors.
o Countertops
o Entrance tile, bathroom and dark room floors.
o Empty the refrigerator after each day and wipe out.
o Bathroom cleaned daily, Windex, wipe countertop and sink, clean toilet.
· Clean basin with bleaching agent as needed.
· Wipe window frame, doorframe, vents, and wheelchair lift as needed.
· Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning supplies such as paper towels, Windex, trash bags, etc.
· Check all overhead lighting for proper operation. Replace bulbs as needed.
· The driver is responsible for finding out all pertinent information about the site, from office site-coordinator. He/she must always set up travel times and ensure that all personnel are notified of these times the day before. Always keep a log of time you left office and arrived at site.
· Park and level the unit.
· Start the generator
· Set and lock steps in place.
· Install door handle.
· Put out awning if wind conditions are below 5 MPH.
· Once you set up at the site, please maintain a low profile in the area so as not to disturb the clients. If bad weather conditions exist, especially windy days please assist patients on and off the unit.
· You must have mobile phone accessibility all working hours.
· Check in with the unit team at least every few hours. Unless you are off the clock, during Unit staff’s lunchtime take out the trash, and do a quick check of any area that needs cleaning.
· If you would like to clock out for the day check with Lead Driver and inform the Site Coordinator.
· Drivers must pick up supplies at the end of every shift. (Supplies are located in the office)
· Perform other job-related duties as directed by management.
· Remember that the most important responsibility of your job is the safety and well-being of personnel on- board. In order to accomplish this requirement, you must perform daily vehicle safety inspections using the transportation management record (driver’s log) as a guide.
· Notify management as soon as possible when any maintenance action is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
· High School diploma with 2 years of related experience.
License/Certification:
· CDL
Experience:
· Must have knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
· Must be proficient with backing and parallel parking a tractor trailer, class A and class B.
· Must be proficient in telephone etiquette.
· 5 years’ experience with 7-year clean MVR (preferred)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
DRESS ATTIRE: Golf type casual shirts, comfortable pants, no jeans. Comfortable shoes, no open toe.
