What you have the opportunity to do:
- Make a direct impact in patient care by providing basic troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on CT Imaging Equipment
- Serve as a technical resource to others in areas of specialty or certification(s).
- Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records per SimonMed policies.
- Build positive relationships with internal team to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
- Confer with manufacturer’s representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment related problems.
- Participate in training programs sponsored by SimonMed and/or other outside training institutions in order acquire the requisite skills necessary to perform the primary job duties and responsibilities.
The expertise you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in an electrical, biomed, electronic or computer science discipline and 3 years of prior experience
- Should possess specialized knowledge in CT (Computed Tomography) equipment.
- OEM trained by Siemens or GE a plus.
- Ability and willingness to serve "on-call" duty as required.
- Must be proficient in computer skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
