Come work with the best and for the best!! You will be working with the latest in Luminos, GE Protius and Fuji Radiologic technology, alongside some of the greatest Radiologists in the country. SimonMed offers cross-training into Mammography, MRI and CT. We are currently in 6 states and are always expanding. This means, you will have many opportunities to move and grow with the company. Along with our constant growth comes individual training for you.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of job related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
- Apply established protocols to obtain necessary radiograph and/or DEXA.
- Required to set up and use all necessary diagnostic equipment for exam completion in general diagnostic and fluoroscopy areas.
- Positions patients for radiological and/or DEXA examinations. Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
- Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires registration as a Radiography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
- Requires registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State
- SimonMed Imaging requires valid hands on CPR certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
