We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with inquiries and reservations.
- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing guest orders efficiently.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest services and restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective guest interactions.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and guest services best practices is highly valued.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent guest relations is crucial for success in this role.
