Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and document individual's progress and behavior
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Accompany individuals to community outings
- Implement individualized care plans and follow specific instructions from healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- First aid and CPR certification
- Medications Assistance certification
- Background screening will be required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using smartphone technology for documentation and scheduling purposes
