Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through digital media and a strong understanding of social media platforms. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance our online presence. The Social Media Specialist will collaborate with various teams to ensure our brand message is consistent and impactful across all channels. Travel between the multiple locations and car show attendances is a large part of this position.
Duties
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality content including videos, graphics, and photography tailored for various platforms if videographer or editor is out.
- Utilize post-production skills to enhance video content using tools such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
- Conduct video production tasks including filming, editing, and adding motion graphics to create compelling narratives.
- Monitor social media trends and audience preferences to inform content creation and strategy adjustments.
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Collaborate with Videographer and Editor and management team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Past management experience.
- Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with post-production processes including videography and motion graphics.
- Excellent photography skills with the ability to create visually appealing content.
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail in crafting engaging posts.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of current trends in social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box when developing content ideas.
