As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the work area. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and Unload Stock: Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately in the warehouse.
- Inspect and Verify: Inspect products for defects and damages; report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Pick orders according to the packing list, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare Shipments: Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment; ensure correct labeling and documentation.
- Organize Stock: Organize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness at all times.
- Monitor Inventory Levels: Keep track of inventory levels and communicate low stock or shortages to management.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all company safety protocols and procedures; maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
- Perform Other Duties: Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing job requirements.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with varying temperatures (warehouse may be cold in winter, hot in summer).
