What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Hygiene Technician position at Simple Safety Solutions?
Requirements:
Job located in Hancock , NY (Cannonsville Reservoir)
Experience level minimum 5 years, CIH required, experience in Biosafety preferred
Duration: full time, minimum 6 months with possibility to extend until position is permanently filled. Day shift with flex hours, as needed.
Responsibilities to include:
- IH Program Management, including developing sampling plans, reporting writing/reviewing
- Perform air sampling, noise monitoring, and other measurements to evaluate exposure levels and assess compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Review projects during conceptual design to ensure compliance with IH requirements.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide expertise in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
