Key Responsibilities:
Grant Writing & Fund Development
- Research and identify grant opportunities.
- Write and submit compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports, ensuring alignment with funding requirements.
- Maintain compliance with grant regulations and reporting deadlines.
- Develop and track a grant calendar, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders, identifying new opportunities for funding growth.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, MOUs, and agreements with funders, vendors, and external partners.
- Ensure contract compliance, tracking obligations and deadlines.
- Work with leadership to negotiate and finalize terms.
- Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements related to contracts and funding.
- Represent the Owner/CEO at stakeholder events and industry conferences.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses, government agencies, and funders.
- Prepare executive-level communications, including press releases, stakeholder reports, and official statements.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and grant-related documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
- Organize, balance, and prioritize tasks in alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects and special initiatives related to funding, partnerships, and external engagement.
- Assist with other task delegated by the CEO.
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, nonprofit management, public policy, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of grant writing experience, securing funds from government, corporate, and private entities.
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance oversight.
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to represent executive leadership in high-profile settings.
- Experience in managing multiple grants, contracts, and corporate relationships simultaneously.
- Skills:
- Exceptional written communication and persuasive writing ability.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in grant databases and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, Grants.gov).
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
