Sr Android Engineers / Developers - 3 days a week hybrid on site

Location : San Jose, CA

Duration : 6-12 months possibility of extension

Team Technical Stack : Native Android & Kotlin

Some experience in Fintech is a Big Plus

Relocation Candidate : Yes, as long as can start by 15th February

Summary :

The main function of an Android developer is to work with engineers to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications utilizing Android software. They will collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Top 3 skills

In-depth knowledge of Kotlin

Proven work experience as an Android developer

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Responsibilities :

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
• Stay up to date with new technology trends
