What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced technician ("Tech 2") who can work independently to perform all functions related to the pre-wire and trim-out phases of a project, including troubleshooting common errors and verifying system functionality. You'll be hands-on in both commercial and residential settings, installing audio, video, networking, security and more. The ideal candidate has the desire to learn and grow. We value enthusiasm, initiative, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.
What You’ll Need:
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read job plans/prints
- Ability to prewire a job with little assistance using proper techniques
- Proficiency with wire terminating, tracing and testing tools
- Comfortable installing and troubleshooting A/V components
- Intermediate understanding of networking
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance and good communication skills
Things That Are A Plus:
- Experience with security and home automation
- Ability to build equipment racks according to provided instructions
- Understanding of construction methods, practices, and stages
- Comfort with all phases of projects (rough-in, trim, install, finish, and commissioning)
