NO relocation funds, and NO per diem.Location : Los Angeles, CANumber of positions : 1Salary Range : $123K - $137KMinimum RequirementsRequired Experience : Minimum six (6) years full-time paid professional experience conceptualizing, planning, selecting, and coordinating interior layouts, interior building finishes, furniture, and equipment with the required degree.Education : Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree preferably in interior design, interior architecture or architecture or any related field.ORCompletion of 40 semester units or equivalent from a recognized college or university in interior design, architecture or any related field, with an additional 2 years of experience.Knowledge / Skills : Principles of interior designFurniture and equipment specification (educational facilities preferable)Principles, practices, and techniques for space planningStrong understanding of color theory principles and its application in Interior DesignTimeline and budget preparationBasic concepts and application of scheduling, procurement, and business data processingMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, BluebeamBuilding codes, ADA, fire and life code as they relate to furniture and equipmentPrinciples, practices, and techniques of project managementProfessional Interior Design studio practicesPlan and design interior spaces and specify furnitureRead and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specificationsOperate major computer-aided software systems such as AutoCAD and RevitCommunicate effectively, both orally and in writingCreate and deliver professional presentations for clients and stakeholders, effectively showcasing design concepts and project detailsWork effectively with F IG staff, facilities personnel, school administrators, and staffOperate a computer and associated peripheral devicesCommute to jobsites and facilities, as neededCompensation : The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
