Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager within the New England territory to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, showcasing and demonstrating modular home models to prospective buyers, and driving the growth of modular home sales. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities of Ideal Candidate:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to grow market share and increase revenue, including targeting potential buyers through market research, developing relationships with homebuilders, and promoting product offerings to prospective buyers.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and builders, understanding their needs and providing tailored modular home solutions. Accurately provide information to clients on pricing and customization options.
- Customer Support: Oversee the customer journey from initial inquiry through final installation, ensuring all steps in the sales process are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to upper management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Modular Construction Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product offerings, and technological advancements in modular home construction to provide expert guidance to clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within the construction, modular home, or real estate industry.
- In-depth knowledge of modular homes and the construction/manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Must have the ability to travel for work-related appointments and meetings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in managing customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- A results-driven attitude with the ability to set and achieve sales targets.
