What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Finisher position at Simplex Homes?
We are looking for an experienced Final Finisher to join our skilled team. We are located in Scranton, PA and build residential and commercial buildings. As a Final Finisher, you will be responsible for performing various finishing tasks to ensure the quality and precision of our homes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment
Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail
- Final prep in finishing homes
- Basic knowledge of Drywall Finish
- Perform finishing operations such as paint touch up, cleaning, receptical and switch plates
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete finishing tasks
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience as a Finisher or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs
