Role and Responsibilities
- Installing sidewalls
- Calculating the number of fasteners for each job
- Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
- Inspect and conduct repairs or maintenance
- Other jobs as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
- Extended periods of standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, and reaching while operating machinery
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in modular home construction a plus
- Good understanding of basic math
- Successful completion of carpentry courses/apprenticeship
Salary: Starting at $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
