Simpli Eye Care PLLC is seeking for a self-motivated dependable individual to join our growing team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into full-time. We are looking for someone who can multi-task since this position requires duties in all areas of the office. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must!
Starting pay $14.50 per hour.
What is an Optometric Patient Care Coordinator?
Optometric Patient Care Coordinator works under the supervision of an optometrist. They perform a variety of duties including patient pretesting such as visual acuity, pressure inside the eye and blood pressure; contact lens patient education; and front office management.

Position details
- Experience and certifications in the optometric field are helpful but not required. Will train the right person. (No experience necessary)
- Paperless office so candidate must be efficient and accurate using a computer
- PART TIME: Wednesday to Friday
- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 10AM to 6PM; Saturday 9:30AM to 5:30PM
Chief duties
- Checking patient’s entering prescription with a lensometer
- Diagnostic testing including auto-refractor, NCT, Optomap retinal imaging
- Assist Optometrist during exam
- Maintaining contact lens inventory, and contact lens training
- Analyze and interpret prescriptions
- Communicate effectively with patient/customer
- Assist in various business duties, including supply and equipment maintenance, and record keeping
- Assist in scheduling patient’s appointment and billing
- Scanning insurance and check-in paperworks
